COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Jason Garey a goal in each half to lead the Columbus Crew to a 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer on Saturday.
Steven Lenhart also scored for Columbus, which has won 12 matches and drawn six of its last 18 home games.
Raphael Cox scored his first goal for Real Salt Lake.
In other matches, the Chicago Fire downed the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0, D.C. United beat the Colorado Rapids 3-1 and the Houston Dynamo drew 1-1 with Toronto FC.
Mexico's Cuauhtemoc Blanco scored one goal and set up another at Bridgeview, Illinois to help the first-place Fire beat San Jose.
Blanco set up the winning goal in the 82nd minute when he intercepted a pass from defender Brandon McDonald and found forward Patrick Nyarko alone in the center of the box. He sealed the win seconds before fulltime.
At Washington, Bryan Namoff redeemed himself after conceding an own goal by scoring in the 56th minute to help D.C. United. past Colorado.
Namoff's header off a Christian Gomez corner beat Rapids goalkeeper Matt Pickens.
In the 14th minute, Namoff kicked the ball into his own goal to put Colorado up 1-0. Namoff was trying to keep the ball away from Conor Casey but inadvertently put it past Josh Wicks.
Bobby Boswell scored the tying goal in the 75th minute for Houston at Toronto.
Toronto took the lead in the 38th minute when Dwayne DeRosario collected a Marvell Wynne pass and beat Houston Goalkeeper Pat Onstad.
Boswell gathered a pass from midfielder Geoff Cameron, but was foiled on his first attempt by Toronto keeper Stefan Frei. The ball came loose and Boswell then buried a shot for his third goal of the season.
