Parkhurst rejoins U.S. for Gold Cup semifinal

CHICAGO (AP) - Defender Michael Parkhurst is rejoining the U.S. roster for Thursday's semifinal against Honduras in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Parkhurst played in three first-round matches, then returned to Denmark to be with Nordsjaelland and missed Saturday's quarterfinal victory over Panama.
The U.S., seeking its third straight title in the regional championship, will have 19 players available for the match, team spokesman Michael Kammarman said Monday, and won't be adding any of the seven supplemental players on its roster.
