Wenger hints at Senderos exit

Arsene Wenger has admitted that long-serving defender Philippe Senderos could leave Arsenal before the end of the transfer window.

Senderos' future is uncertain after he openly conceded he would be keen to return to Italy having enjoyed a season-long loan at AC Milan last term.

A permanent stay at the San Siro has since failed to materialise and the Switzerland international is currently training with the Gunners in Austria.

Wenger admits Senderos, who signed for Arsenal from Servette in 2003, could be on his way out of the club, with reports suggesting he could be used as part of a deal for Bordeaux's Marouane Chamakh.

He said in the London Evening Standard: "He has offers and it is open.

"He has come back here with us still looking for solutions but he is still yet to decide on his future."
