Kawasaki knocks out ACL champs Gamba Osaka

OSAKA, Japan (AP) - Substitute Masaru Kurotsu scored the late winner as Kasawaki Frontale knocked defending champions Gamba Osaka out of the Asian Champions League with a 3-2 victory Wednesday that put Frontale in the quarterfinals.

Kurotsu came off the bench and scored the winner with a left-foot drive from 15 meters with just five minutes remaining.
Gamba's Brazilian striker Leandro scored a pair of first-half goals either side of Kengo Nakamura's effort for Frontale, putting the defending champions up 2-1.

That lead lasted until the 76th minute when Fronatle's own Brazilian forward Renatinho equalized.
